Habeas Data Policy

We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our clients and employees. In compliance with the provisions of Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations, the Company has implemented the following Habeas Data Policy:

  1. Collection and Processing of Personal Data: The Company will only collect and process personal data that is necessary for the provision of its services, and only with the express consent of the individual concerned.
  2. Purpose of the Processing of Personal Data: JP English Academy is committed to providing top-quality English language education services to its clients. To achieve this goal, the Company collects and processes personal data solely for the provision of its services, including but not limited to the scheduling and delivery of classes, communication with clients and employees, and the management of the Company’s financial, administrative affairs, promotion of its services,  advertising and promotional activities, such as online and offline marketing campaigns, social media promotions, referral programs, and other tactics. These activities are designed to raise awareness of the Company’s services and attract new clients, while also maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  3. Confidentiality: The Company will maintain the confidentiality of the personal data collected and processed and will not disclose it to third parties without the express consent of the individual concerned, except as required by law.
  4. Security Measures: The Company has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data collected and processed against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or destruction.
  5. Rights of the Data Subject: The individual concerned has the right to access, update, rectify, delete, or revoke the consent given for the processing of their personal data, as well as the right to file a complaint with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce in case of non-compliance with the provisions of Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations.
  6. Changes to the Habeas Data Policy: The Company reserves the right to make changes to this Habeas Data Policy at any time, in compliance with the provisions of Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations.
